Joseph’s Storehouse Food Bank

when I was hungry, you fed me ...

In an effort to aggressively help prevent homelessness, we provide over $300 per month in food savings for families which enable them to redirect those funds toward paying their rent and utilities. One large food box is available per family - per week, worth in excess of $75 of quality food products.

Food Distribution hours are:

  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

The Clothing Room

when I was naked, you clothed me ...

During food distribution days families are given access to the clothing room to select good quality women's, men's and children's clothing. Faithful and hardworking volunteers sort and prepare thousands of articles of donated clothing each month to be made available to needy families and the homeless.

Clothing Distribution takes place during Food Distribution hours:

  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

New Hope Free Clinic

when I was sick, you came to me ...

New Hope Free Clinic provides our client families with much needed medical and dental services by a committed team of doctors and nurses, dentists and dental technicians.

Resource Center

when I was prisoner, you visited me ...

Resource Center serves to assist job seekers in pursuing potential employment opportunities through resume writing , filling out employment applications, interview coaching and even providing proper clothing for job interviews. We offer classes in job training, E.S.L, G.E.D and S.A.T. Tutorial. We have a dedicated team of coaches and mentors who are also available to help clients obtain basic requirements such as I.D. Card, social security cards, etc.

The Resource Center is open:

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • Thursdays 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

H.O.P.E. Initiative

The Blessing Center is a home to the H.O.P.E. Initiative which works with local families suffering with an HIV positive/A.I.D.S. family member(s). Many caring and sensitive volunteers involved in this program transport food boxes and clothing directly to the client families’ homes and spend time in visiting and interacting with the entire family.

  • Food boxes delivered every Monday at 5:00 p.m.

Homeless Services

when I was a stranger, you took me in ...

  • We serve homeless individuals and families with bagged lunches, clothing, hygiene items and other resources
  • A community dinner is served the last Wednesday of every month. Come join us!
    • Everyone is invited
